LMHA Closing Housing Choice Voucher Program Waiting List Due to the Governor’s ban of groups of 100 or more, effective immediately, the Housing Choice Voucher Program waiting list is closed.  LMHA WILL NOT be accepting applications on first and third Fridays of the month until further notice.   LMHA WILL NOT hold the random selection or accept applications as planned on March 20, 2020. LMHA will advertise when the HCVP waiting list reopens. Equal Housing Opportunity.

Debido a la prohibición del Gobernador de grupos de 100 o más, con efecto inmediato, la lista de espera del Programa de Vales de Elección de Vivienda está cerrada. LMHA NO aceptará solicitudes el primer y tercer viernes del mes hasta nuevo aviso. LMHA NO retendrá la selección aleatoria ni aceptará solicitudes según lo planeado el 20 de marzo de 2020. LMHA anunciará cuando se vuelva a abrir la lista de espera de HCVP.

Effective February 1, 2020 the Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority (LMHA) had its 2020 Annual Plan, 5-Year Plan, and Capital Fund Program 5-Year Action Plan available for review and inspection online at http://www.lmha.org/about-lmha/annual-reports/.

LMHA is interested in your comments. Submit them to LMHA/John McMahon via email to jmcmaho@lmha.org.

The public hearing will be held VIA TELEPHONE CONFERENCE ONLY at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 18, 2020.

The Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority (LMHA) has awarded 62 Project Based Vouchers to Emerald Development and Economic Network (EDEN), Inc. and Bridge Pointe Commons LP for the development of a 62-unit permanent supportive housing project to be located at 338 East Bridge Street in Elyria, Ohio. 

The proposal was evaluated according to the proposal review selection criteria, 24 CFR Part 983, and the LMHA Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) Administrative Plan.  LMHA will make its selection records and documentation for the basis of selection available for public inspection at the LMHA Main Office 1600 Kansas Ave., Lorain, Ohio.  Inquiries can be made by calling LMHA at (440) 288-1600 or by email to lmha1600@lmha.org.

Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority (LMHA) will be accepting applications for the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) waiting list lottery beginning: February 8, 2015 at 12:01 AM through February 14, 2015 11:59 PM.

Lottery is complete results and winners will be posted as soon as they are available.
