by Administrator November / 12 / 2024Effective 11:59pm on November 30, 2024, Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority will stop accepting applications for Public Housing, Harr Plaza, and International Plaza waiting lists.
All applicants who applied prior to November 30, 2024 at 11:59pm must continue to report all changes to contact information, household composition, and income through the LMHA Portal.
LMHA will announce in advance when the Waiting List will reopen.

by Administrator July / 5 / 2024The Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority (LMHA) will be accepting pre-applications for the Housing Choice Voucher Program waiting list on July 17, 2024. The waiting list will open at 8:00am and close at 4:00pm.
To apply, please visit https://myportal.lmha.org.
New applicants may apply through the Applicant Login. Existing residents may apply through the Resident Login.
LMHA also has kiosks at the following locations which will be available during this time to submit an application:
- LMHA Main Office, 1600 Kansas Ave, Lorain
- Lakeview Plaza, 310 Seventh St, Lorain
- International Plaza, 1825 Homewood Dr, Lorain
- Riverview Plaza, 310 East Ave, Elyria
- John Fredrick Oberlin, 138 S Main St, Oberlin

PBV assistance provides rental subsidies paid on behalf of eligible families who live in units that are contracted under the PBV program.
