Housing for Elderly, Near Elderly and Persons with Disabilities

LMHA manages project based housing for elderly / persons with disabilities, which is funded under the Section 8 New Construction program. Owned by Lorain County Elderly Housing Corporation (LCEHC), Harr Plaza and International Plaza offers one and two bedroom apartments located in Elyria and Lorain. The first floor of each building offers accessible apartments.  Each apartment has an electric stove, refrigerator, carpet, and air conditioner.  All utilities are included.  Amenities include secure building entry, emergency call system, elevators, a central laundry room, and community area.  Rent is based on adjusted gross income.  Security deposits are required and are equal to one month’s rent.
